March 13, 2017 marks the sixth anniversary of the passing of our dearly beloved Rev. Msgr. Vincent Foy!
Surely, this holy priest of God is interceding in prayer for the salvation of souls and for his loved ones!
MSGR. FOY’S PAMPHLETS ON CONTRACEPTION ARE AVAILABLE IN BULK!
Msgr. Foy wanted a pamphlet to be made available in parishes promoting the Church’s unchangeable teachings on contraception.
Msgr. Foy’s excellent pamphlet Contraception – Why Not? is one of the most concise yet thorough pamphlets outlining the harmful spiritual and medical effects of contraception.
Bulk copies are available in English, Italian and soon French at the Ave Maria Centre of Peace, 415-251-4245. Ask for Henry. Please share it with others and have it widely distributed.
If you know someone who can make a Spanish translation, please let him know.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR DIGITIZATION OF MORE WRITINGS OF MSGR. FOY:
The Ave Maria Centre of Peace (Toronto, near Islington Ave and Jutland Rd) is looking for a volunteer to help with digitizing some unpublished writings of Msgr. Foy to store as historical records. Most are letters he wrote in defence of the Church’s teachings. If someone would like to help them with this project, please contact Henry at 416-251-4245. A desk will be made available there for the volunteer. We also have a collection of personal postcards that Msgr. Foy sent mostly to his family that a volunteer could scan for uploading to his website – if you are interested in helping, call 1-800-339-5137, mentioning the reason for your call.
VISITATION AND PRAYERS AT MSGR. FOY’S GRAVE:
Msgr. Foy’s grave is located at Queen of the Clergy Cemetery, St. Augustine’s Seminary, 2661 Kingston Rd, Scarborough/Toronto, ON, M1M 1M3. Directions: http://staugustines.on.ca/contact__us Before visiting, please call St. Augustine’s to make sure that someone at reception will be there in case the gate is closed, to let you in. His grave-site is #261, near the statue of the Blessed Mother. You are welcome to invite friends to pray at his grave.
MSGR. FOY CO-FOUNDED A CHARITY PROMOTING EUCHARISTIC ADORATION:

As a faithful priest, he was deeply devoted to the Blessed Sacrament and wanted more Eucharistic adoration. After a long day of work at the chancery, he travelled at night to preach during exposition of the Blessed Sacrament devotions at many parishes.
In his article, Saving the Church, among other things, he recommended:
Frequent Communion/daily Mass
- Encourage frequent Holy Communion.
- By making daily Mass available at times convenient to the laity, perhaps ensuring that there is an early morning or evening Mass in each parish or family of parishes, more people will be able to attend daily Mass.
Provide extended Eucharistic Adoration
- Establish Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, extended exposition up to 24 hours a day, “in every parish and Christian community” as requested by Pope John Paul II. Chapels can be set up in a room in the church basement, vestibule, main floor, rectory or have the exposition in the main body of the Church. Help is available to start or organize this program in parishes.
- Revive Forty Hours devotions in parishes.
